Seed Design is the merging of Rebekah Fessenden’s design love with her hands-on experience of 15 years in the worlds of design, marketing and retail, primarily as the design director for Rockridge Home, an independently owned home, kitchen and gift store in Oakland, CA. She mastered fast, functional design; planning and execution of floor layout and window displays for a 2,000sft retail space. She maintained freshness and consistency while incorporating daily shipments of inventory. Also responsible for branding, marketing and buying she developed a practical sales-based approach to design. Her award-winning work at the store has been nationally recognized at the Retail Excellence Awards.
